KHUZDAR: Levies force Khuzdar claimed to have seized 450kg hashish in an operation at Zawa Check post in district Khuzdar of Balochistan province on Monday.
Following the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Khuzdar, Major (Retd) Bashir Ahmed, the levies force team in an operation conducted at Zawa check post seized 450kg high hashish from the hidden cavities of Mazda vehicle No. SEA-868.
Driver of the vehicle namely Abdul Bari son of Haji Muhammad Khan, resident of Chaman, was arrested and accordingly booked.
Meanwhile, Shahida Wahid (OMG/BS-18), Deputy Secretary, (Regulation), SandGAD, has been transferred and posted as Acting Additional Secretary, Urban Planning and Development Department (UPandD) while Muhammad Ramzan Palal (BCS/BS-18), Deputy Secretary, Home and Tribal Affairs Department, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary (Regulation), SandGAD vice Shahida Wahid, according to a notification issued today.
