KARACHI:Sindh government has banned lifting of more than four passengers on Qingqi rickshaws besides fixing Rs10 fare per six kilometers distance.
According to Sindh Transport Department, a Qingqi rickshaw could carry only four passengers. In case of violation, criminal cases would be registered against the drivers of these rickshaws. Rs 15 fare will be charged from those passengers travelling more than six kilometers.
The traffic police have been authorized to take actions against the drivers violating new order and lodge cases against them as per law.
