Media urged to discourage anti-state narrative

Lahore:“India is involved in spreading unrest in Balochistan. Media must discourage anti-state narrative,” said Balochistan Provincial Minister for Home Mir Ziaraullah Langove speaking at “Meet the Press” program of Lahore Press Club.

Ziaullah Langove said, “India is involved in deteriorating peace of the province and evidence in this regard is available”. He said that foreign agencies were destroying peace of the province.

He further said wrong statistics were being submitted about missing persons. He said the state institution had received the data of only 170 missing persons, adding that 60 out of these 170 missing persons have already reached their homes. He blamed that India and other countries were involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan and Afghan soil was being used for terrorism in Balochistan.

He said, “There are some reservations about CPEC.” He said the CPEC is door to development, but the share of Balochistan in CPEC is negligible. He said that corruption in Balochistan was less as compared to other provinces.
