ISLAMABAD:Provincial Minister for Information, Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan has said that government will not to spare the lawyers involved in Wednesday attack on the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC).
He said the government would set an example for those who tried to take the law into their own hands and spread panic. Talking to a private news channel on Thursday, Chohan said the government cannot allow anyone to take the law into his hands. Her said those who tried to take law in their hands will be held accountable.
He said police have registered an FIR against almost 250 lawyers who on Wednesday attacked government-run Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) in Lahore.
He said we will identify all those black sheep in lawyers’ community who were involved in the recent inhuman act. He said through electronic media footage, all the accused will be pointed out. He said FIRs will be registered against all those who were responsible for the violence and they will be given exemplary punishments.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan will never tolerate the lawlessness in the country at any costs and he has ordered for strict action against all negative elements who took the law in their hands. Chohan also appealed the doctors to keep emergencies of the hospitals open as it was not a fault of the patients.
