Minister: (Organizing Committee for Rehmat-ul-lil-Alamin Conference discusses proposals for event)

ISLAMABAD:The meeting of the organizing committee for preparations of Rehmat-lil-Alameen (SAW) Conference was held here on Saturday with Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri in the chair.

The proposals for different programs to celebrate Eid-e-Milad-un Nabi were discussed in the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan, Senator Faisal Javed and Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Iftikhar Durrani.

Speaking in the occasion, the Minister said Eid-Milad-un-Nabi will be celebrated with due honour and respect.

He said special functions and ceremonies will be arranged in Rabiul Awwal in which the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) will be highlighted.

Speaking on the occasion, Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said arrangements will be made for the coverage of processions of 12 Rabbiul Awwal.

He said PTV and Radio Pakistan will air Qirat, Naat Khawani and other programmes on the occasion.

Special programmes will be aired to highlight the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

He said ensuring the respect and dignity of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is duty of every Muslim.
