Ubauro: The hand of a minor girl was reportedly given in marriage to set off a family loan near here Monday.
As per details, some villagers informed the police that a laborer in order to set off a family loan of Rs55000 arranged the marriage of his 11-years-old daughter to the lender at Village Hussain Bhutto near here.
Police raided and recovered the girl; however, the bride groom, Nikah Khuwan and witnesses of the marriage managed to flee. The recovered girl would be presented before local magistrate, said the police, adding the accused who have fled would soon be arrested.
