KARACHI: The President of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA), the political alliance of religious parties, Sindh chapter Moulana Rashid Mehmood Soomro on Tuesday said that the MMA will start public contact campaign soon and hold general council meeting in Hyderabad ahead of Ramazan.
Addressing provincial general council here at Idara e Noor e Huq, Soomro said that the MMA would field its candidates against ‘Jagirdars’ and corrupt rulers who had left the people of Sindh alone.
He said that the MMA’s ‘Sadiq and Ameen’ leadership would heal the wounds of the people and Sindh on the path of prosperity, asking the people to support them for making Pakistan the ‘Islamic welfare society’.
Soomro added that the MMA would the biggest public gathering of Pakistan’s history after Ramazan in Karachi.
