MIRPUR MATHELO:A motorcyclist was killed after being knocked down by a car near Mirpur Mathelo on Tuesday. A speeding car knocked down a motorcyclist, Mushtaq Mahar, a resident of Kausar Colony, at Gutki bus stop near Mirpur Mathelo. As a result, he suffered severe injuries and died on the spot. Police said that accident happened due to speeding.
The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Mirpur Mathelo and later handed over to heirs after the completion of medico-legal formalities. The police have impounded the car. However, its driver managed to flee to unknown destination. Search for the driver has been started, the police said.
