KARACHI:Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Dr Sayed Kaleem Imam on Thursday decided during a high-level meeting that Crime Branch’s name be changed with Crime and Investigation branch. IGP Sindh while presiding over the meeting held at Central Police Office (CPO) Karachi regarding the working of Crime Branch gave important instructions and suggestions.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Crime Branch briefed the meeting on performance of his e department. The meeting decided that name of the School of Investigation would be changed and it would be provided more facilities. Matters of SP Crime Monitoring will be interlinked with other relevant offices and in this regard Information Technology (IT) branch will prepare software.
