New students’ alliance formed in Balochistan

Quetta:After lengthy deliberations, a new student alliance “Tulaba Educational Alliance” has been formed with the sole purpose of solving the problems being faced by the students and educational institution of Balochistan.

These views were expressed by the newly elected President of Tulaba Educational Alliance Hameed Baloch along with Zubair Agha and Ghani Baloch in a press conference held at Quetta Press Club.

The said student alliance has been formed by Baloch Students Organization, Baloch Students Organization (Bejar), Pushtoon Student Federation (Azad), Pushtoonkhwa Students Organization, Baloch Students Action Committee, Jamiat Tulaba-e-Islam (Nazriyati) and Hazara Students Federation.

It has been demanded of the higher authorities to take action for restoring student union, basic amenities be provided at the level of schools, colleges and universities, steps may be taken on priority basis to create peaceful environment in educational institution of Balochistan, scholarship may be awarded and lap tops may be provided to the poor students of Balochistan.

It was also demanded that educational fee of educational institution may be reduced and closed hostels in the educational institutions of the province may be re-opened so that students belonging to far flung areas of the province may not confront hardships.
