KARACHI: Former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s spouse Nusrat Bhutto was a role model for all those striving for people’s democratic rights across the world because she had stood courageously opposite to the forces of tyranny and no struggle for the peoples’ rights could succeed without patience, courage, endurance and steadfastness as Nusrat Bhutto showed.
This was stated by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Women Wing Central President and Member Provincial Assembly (Sindh) (MPA) Faryal Talpur in a statement paying rich tribute to Ms Begum Nusrat Bhutto on her 7th anniversary.
Talpur said that Ms. Begum Bhutto was a brave, daring and kind woman and the people of Pakistan would remember her for her great sacrifices and historical struggle with great esteem and reverence.
