Shikarpur: One senior clerk was shot dead in his Clerk Office at RBUT Civil Hospital Shikarpur over an old rivalry here on Tuesday, in the jurisdiction of New Faujdari police station on Tuesday.

According to reports, some group of three armed men intercepted in the RBUT Civil Hospital Shikarpur and opened series of fires upon the Clerk of Hospital named Hussain Bux Jatoi in day light and easily fled away while firing in air without any Hospital security resistance and police constable deputed there also did not bothered to resist.

As a result of firing two persons, including Hussain Bux Gohrani Jatoi, the Senior Clerk of RBUT Civil Hospital and another road passer Allah Ditto Soomro of Jacobabad got severe injured. The injured were transported to RBUT Civil Hospital for their medical treatment.

The one of injured Hussain Bux Gohrani Jatoi, of 55, was referred to Sukkur Hospital due to his critical condition after giving him medical first from RBUT Civil Hospital Shikarpur who later succumbed to his injuries on the road before reaching Sukkur. The other injured was reported as out of danger.

The dead body of deceased Hussain Bux Jatoi was handed over to his heirs after conducting postmortem examination from RBUT Civil Hospital Shikarpur. As per area police, the cause behind the murder was said to be an ongoing old tribal dispute between the two groups of Gohrani Jatoi and Sadkhanani Jatoi Communities.

As per sources that the deceased Hussain Bux Gohrnai Jatoi, was serving in RBUT Civil Hospital since last 25 years and living here in Shikarpur who was gunned down only on the name of ongoing Tribal Clash between Sadkhanani Jatoi and Gohrani Jatoi. No FIR was registered till late evening.
