ISLAMABAD:According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 44% Pakistanis claim to have heard or read about President Trump’s announcement to cut down US aid to Pakistan.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Recently, the US President announced to cut down Pakistan’s aid and also accused that Pakistan provides US no benefits in return for American aid. Please tell if you have read/heard something about this?”
In response to this question, 44% said yes and 46% said no, 10% did not now or wish to respond.
The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International.
The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1740 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, January 07- January 13, 2018. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
