Opinion Poll: (49% Pakistanis claim their health today is relatively better than previous year: Poll)

ISLAMABAD: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, half Pakistanis (49%) claim their health today is relatively better (somewhat better / much better) than the previous year.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “How do you see your health in comparison to the previous year?”

In response to this question, 20% said it is much better than previous year, 29% said it is somewhat better than previous year, 37% said it is the same as previous year, 11% said it is somewhat worse than previous year, 2% said it is much worse than previous year while 1% did not know or did not wish to respond.

The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International.

The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1506 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, June 11 – June 18, 2018. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
