Opposition trying to avoid accountability process: PTI leader

KARACHI:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Nusrat Wahid has said that the opposition, through its so-called protest demonstrations, is trying to avoid the accountability process.

“Pakistan Peoples Party, Pakistan Muslim League and any other party cannot blackmail us and their high handedness will go in vain,” she said while speaking at Yum-e-Tashkur held at Qayumabad PS 97 and NA 241 on Sunday. Nusrat said action against corrupt elements, who are involved in money laundering and bogus bank accounts, would continue.

She further said that the opposition might hold rallies and public meetings, the people of Pakistan would not listen to them because they knew that just to save Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari from the ongoing cases, tpublic would not support them.

Nusrat further said that that the nation had voted PTI to eliminate the menace of corruption from the society and remove the old orthodox policies. The MNA reiterated that the PTI would never move back from its commitments.
