100 students take part in ‘Mission to Mars Space challenge’

KARACHI:10 teams of 100 students from various private and government schools presented their projects to resolve challenges of survival on Mars as part of the U.S. Consulate General Karachi’s Mission to Mars Space Challenge at the Lincoln Corner Karachi Saturday.

The Mission to Mars Space challenge was inaugurated on April 30, 2019 at the Lincoln Corner Karachi. NASA’s American-Pakistani Avionics engineer – Hibah Rahmani spoke at the orientation program to share her story and inspire students to pursue STEM careers.

The students worked on their projects and solutions for almost 3 months. Three winning teams, of a total of 30 students will get to a attend a 3D Space Design Camp at Lincoln Corner Karachi in the Liaquat Memorial Library beginning July 30th, 2019.
