Orphans attend Universal Children Day ceremony

ISLAMABAD: Managing Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar has said that children translate and determine the future of a nation, if they are not cared and trained the future of a nation is endangered.

This was stated during an event organized on the eve of Universal Children Day here in Dar-ul-Ehsaas, according to a PID statement. Donors of the centre Rafique Khan and Bushra Khan were also present there along with Director PBM, Muhammad Azhar Afzal.

Orphan Children of the centre participated in event and also performed tableau on national songs. The children were also presented gifts by the Managing Director on the occasion. Addressing the ceremony, the Managing Director also underlined various initiatives of PBM that are protecting the basic rights of children.

He said that in order to keep them away from the dark shadows of helplessness, loneliness and sense of deprivation, the vulnerable and orphan children are being benefitted with healthcare, education, food, clothing and other basic needs of life. “On the platform of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, I am quite determined to materialize our Government’s commitment to the poor and deprived people of Pakistan,” he stated.

PBM’s Managing Director also provoked the need of shared responsibility to create a conducive and healthy environment for our children. Managing Director PBM also had lunch with the children of Dar-ul-Ehsaas.
