KARACHI: Karachi police Wednesday claimed to have foiled a bid to trade Iranian diesel and arrested three accused in Ibrahim Hyderi area of the city.
According to details, a team of Ibrahim Hyderi police station, on a tip-off, carried out raids in different areas of their limits and seized more than 50 liters of Iranian diesel and arrested three accused, Muhammad Ishaque, Dost Muhammad and Ali Rehman.
The police said the accused were selling smuggled Iranian diesel in the area. The case has been registered against the accused. Further investigation was underway, they said.
