SHIKARPUR:Police on Monday claimed to have recovered two abducted persons and arrested two bandits from Garhi Tegho locality in an encounter.
They said that in the raid and shootout for some time at the bandits’ hideout, Bilawal Soomro and Ajab Dasti were recovered while two alleged bandits Arsalah and Anwar Jatoi were arrested. The police also claimed to have recovered two TT pistols from their possession.
However, there were also reports in the area that abducted persons had been recovered through ransom.
The youth, Bilawal, had been kidnapped on October 6 from Rustam locality while Ajab Dasti, a resident of Tharimirwah, had been kidnapped four months back.
