Police seize huge quantity of arms, ammunition

LORALAI: District police, Loralai claimed to have seized large quantity of arms and ammunition in an operation conducted in Dera Road near Shair Jan Kadi area of district Loralai in Balochistan province on Saturday.

Acting on a tip-off, District Police, Loralai conducted an operation in Dera Road near Shair Jan Kadi area of district Loralai and seized large quantity of arms and ammunition, including 28 pistols along with 69 magazines, one 223 Rifle and 100 rounds 32 bore hidden in the boxes of batteries and air-conditioners.

One alleged accused namely Qaiser Khan son of Shairzada, resident of Matani area of Peshawar, KPK was apprehended during the operation and accordingly booked in F.I.R NO. 229/021 under section 13D. Operation was conducted by the staff of district police, Loralai under the supervision of SSP, Loralai, Irfan Bashir and Incharge, C.I.A, Loralai, Inspector Shair Muhammad Hasni in compliance with the directives of Inspector General of Police, Balochistan, Muhammad Tahir Rae, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Zhob Range at Loralai, Sahibzada Bilal Umer. Further investigation was being conducted by the authorities of concerned police station.
