PTA announces mammoth anti-govt protest

LARKANA:The President and General Secretary of Primary Teachers Association (PTA), Haji Shafi Muhammad Sathyo and Javed Dharpali, respectively, and others have announced that thousands of Primary School Teachers will start their protest long march on November 11, 2018 from the shrine of Bhutto leaders in Garhi Khuda Bux which will terminate in front of Sindh Chief Minister House in Karachi where these teachers will stage a huge sit-in and hold a protest demonstration for acceptance of their just demands.

These teachers’ leaders were talking to newsmen here on Saturday. They said that their issues were not being resolved as the government was constantly avoiding and keeping them on false commitments since long; therefore, it had been decided to take out a massive long march to pressurize the rulers to accept their justified demands or face the consequences.

They said that forced transfers were being made which must be stopped and previous orders withdrawn. They said they had to pay huge commission for their legal works at every government office including District Accounts Offices of Sindh, Director and District Education Offices through their agents which must be stopped and corrupt officers must be taken to task.
