KARACHI:Sindh Rangers on Sunday claimed to have apprehended six suspects during intelligence based raids from different areas of the metropolis.
According to rangers’ spokesman, the paramilitary soldiers carried out a targeted raid in Brigade and Ferozabad areas and apprehended six suspects, Farhaan Javed, Muhammad Adil, Muhammad Tariq, Muhammad Asif and Faisal Qureshi. The spokesman said that the arrested suspect involved in several street crimes.
Rangers claimed that weapons, drugs and looted goods were also recovered from the possession of detainees.
Moreover, rangers and police along with Irrigation Department on Sunday conducted various operations against water theft in district Baddin.
During the operations in Sultani Branch in Tlhar around 23 illegal water connections were disconnected and FIRs registered against 23 suspects for their alleged involvement in water theft.
