ISLAMABAD:Special Assistant to Prime Minister on National Health Services Dr Zafar Mirza has said that the government is taking effective measures to eliminate dengue virus.
He made these remarks on the occasion of inauguration of twenty-five bed Special Dengue Ward at Federal General Hospital here on Friday.
He said the Dengue Control Cell is working efficiently. He said anti-dengue spray is being used to prevent growth of mosquitoes causing dengue fever.
He said lady heath workers are also creating awareness with regard to dengue fever. He appealed the general public to exercise all the precautionary measures to remain safe from dengue fever.
