ISLAMABAD:Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the objective of “Plant for Pakistan” campaign is to make every nook and cranny of the country green.
In a tweet on Monday, she said Imran Khan is the only leader who took solid steps to deal with the challenges of climate change and gave special important to tree plantation.
She appealed to all the citizens to become part of the campaign and plant saplings. She said tree plantation is Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) and an act of Sadqa-e-Jariya.
