Lahore: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has reaffirmed his commitment to take minority communities along in the journey of development.
Addressing Pastors and Church Leaders Conference in Lahore on Saturday, he said Christian Community played a vibrant role in Pakistan Movement.
He said Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had declared that Pakistan equally belongs to all living in it.
The Governor lauded the services of the Christian community in promoting education in Pakistan.
He said directives have been issued to fill quota of religious minorities for admissions to public sector universities and colleges.
