KARACHI:Sindh’ Secretary Health Saeed Ahmed Awan on Saturday paid a visit to Civil Hospital Naushero Feroz and showed his displeasure at overall situation of the health facility.
Awan expressed his displeasure against store keeper for not maintaining his record and cold chain properly. He also showed annoyance over poor cleanliness in the hospital. The X-ray machine and monitors were found non-functional during his visit.
He directed the doctors, paramedical staff and others to wear uniforms during duty and maintain discipline the hospital. He instructed that the emergency services like Lab and X-ray should be opened to deal with emergency patients round the clock.
He directed the Medical Superintendent of Civil Hospital to close all illegal medical stores within the premises of the hospital on urgent basis.
