Senate’s deputy chairman inaugurates RO plant in Baldia

KARACHI: Senate of Pakistan’s Deputy Chairman Saleem Mandviwala, along with other dignitaries, inaugurated an RO plant in Baldia town’s UC-2 on Tuesday.

United Memon Jamaat of Pakistan (UMJP) in collaboration with Coca-Cola Pakistan and its implementation partners UNDP and GWC installed the RO plant.

UMJP arranged funds from its own resources to install a tube-well in the premises of all Baldia Memon Jamaat and also provided space to construct a room for installation of RO plant and water delivery section outside the building to provide safe drinking water to the communities.

The RO plant will provide 3000 gallons of safe drinking water per day for the communities of the area. The RO plant was jointly inaugurated by chief guest Deputy Chairman Senate Saleem Mandviwala, President United Memon Jammat Aziz Memon, District Governor Rotary Irfan Qureshi and other senior dignitaries.
