SHC extends interim bail of ex-CM

KARACHI:Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday extended interim bail granted to former Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah till the 4th February.

A two-member bench of the SHC heard the plea filed by Qaim Ali Shah, who appeared before the court, seeking extension in his interim bail. The court approved his plea and extended his interim bail.

Qaim Ali Shah is accused for illegally allotting pieces of land in Malir to Bahria Town project of real estate tycoon Malik Riaz.

The National Accountability Court (NAB) had issued the notice to Shah in illegal transfer of land case. The NAB is investigating against Shah and others in this case.

The court, later, adjourned the hearing till 4th February.
