KARACHI:The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday directed the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Karachi South Sharjeel Kharal to provide permanent security to a citizen.
A two-member of the SHC heard the plea filed by Hakim Ali against DIG South Sharjeel Khar, Senior Superintend of Police (SSP) South Pir Muhammad Shah and SSP South Suhai Aziz for not providing him security despite court orders.
The top officials of the Sindh police appeared before the court.
The petitioner stated that 15 month ago the court had ordered for giving him security but the police provided security just 5 days back.
The court asked the officials to provide permanent security to the citizen and adjourned the hearing till the 18th March.
