Quetta:A shutter-down strike was observed on Sunday in different towns of Balochistan including Quetta on the call of Maulana Fazalur Rahman, the amir of Jamait Ulema-e-Islam -Fazal (JUI-F) against the murder of a JUI-F leader Maulana Muhammad Haneef in a bomb blast in Chaman town previous day.
Trade activities in the province remained shut due to closure of markets in all main towns. However, no untoward incident was reported and security remained very tight.
