KARACHI:Sindh Health Department in collaboration with World Health Organization (WHO) is launching Health and Nutrition Initiative in eight drought-affected districts of Sindh province from 1st March 2019.
Director General Health Sindh Dr Masood Solangi said the Health and Nutrition Initiative would be launched in Tharparkar, Umerkot, Thatta, Dadu, Sanghar, Jamshoro, Badin, Qambar-Shahdadkot and other districts.
He said interventions, including provision of emergency medical kits and two fully equipped mobile medical units for seven districts, would also be arranged. He further said four mobile medical units had been planned for Tharparkar to reach out the community.
