SLAU refutes teachers’ allegations

Karachi: The spokesperson of Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur, Ibrahim Khokhar has refuted the allegations of the protesting teachers published in various, newspapers as the tactics of blackmailing.

In his statement he made it clear that the university is undergoing serious financial crises and the administration is in contact with the Government of Sindh and Higher Education Commission Pakistan to resolve this issue.

However; the protesting teachers have their own axe to grind and they are exploiting the situation for personal benefits and illegal promotions. This small group is bent upon maligning the reputation of the university and in this hour of crises demand for leave encashment is nothing but a pressurizing tactic to achieve vested interests.

The spokesperson cleared that the university functions smoothly despite financial crises under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Parveen Shah and she is committed to resolving all the just issues of the teachers as well as the employees with the availability of funds once the financial crises.
