ISLAMABAD:National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser has said that Pakistan has always been supportive of peace through dialogue in the region.
In a statement, he said the National Assembly would organize a national seminar in this regard on March 17, which would be attended by parliamentarians, academics, analysts, civil society and media representatives.
He said the situation arising after the agreement between the United States and Afghan Taliban would be discussed and suggestions for future action would be considered.
The Speaker expressed the hope that the US-Taliban peace agreement would play a vital role in restoration of peace, prosperity and development in the region.
