KARACHI:Students across Sindh on Wednesday held protest demonstrations and ut rallies against the alleged murder of Nimarta Kumari, a dental student of Bibi Asifa Dental College, Larkana.
Jeay Sindh Students Federation (JSSF) along with other student organisations held protests across Sindh and demanded justice for Nimarta Kumari.
In Larkana’s Chandka Medical Collage, a protest was lead by JSSF President Zeeshan Mangrio and Zaman Naich. A large number of students attended the protest and demanded fair investigation into death of Kumari.
A rally was also taken out from Tando Jam Agriculture University which marched to the local Press Club. It was attended by a large number of students. The protestors shouted slogans and alleged that Chandka Medical Collage administration was responsible for the death of Kumari.
However, a protest demonstration was also held by the Students Action Committee of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Sakrand. They demanded fair probe into the murder and appealed the Chief Justice of Sindh High Court (SHC) to take notice of the case.
A protest demonstration was also held in Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Nawabshah against the alleged murder of Kumari.
