HYDERABAD: Vice chancellor of Sindh University (SU) Dr Fateh Mohammad Burfat on Thursday strongly rejected a false news item circulating on social media and some private TV channels about ban on Urdu language in Sindh University Jamshoro.
Talking to PPI the VC said such baseless and shameful propaganda could be wishful thinking of inverted forces that could not see the university as flourishing and developed.
However, a SU spokesman said university administration strongly turned down about the false news item which was circulated on some private TV channels and social media. It further said Urdu language is national language and the SU could never be neglected it. Students are giving education in PHD level in SU Urdu department. The university has hosted many events to promote Urdu language.
