Lahore:Noted preacher and Amir of Tablighi Jamaat amir Haji Abdul Wahab who passed away in Lahore on Sunday morning was laid to rest in Raiwind graveyard after Asr prayers. He was 95.
Thousands of people attended the funeral prayer, led by Maulana Nazurul Rehman. Before the funeral prayer Maulana Tariq Jameel delivered a sermon.
Haji Abdul Wahab had been admitted to a private hospital due to dengue viral fever, where he died Sunday morning.
A large number of Tablighi Jamaat followers reached Raiwind to attend the funeral prayer.
In Karachi all flights for Lahore were capacity full and the PIA announced sending a special flight to Lahore. However, a large number of people could not find any seat for Lahore.
