They stole vote of people: Maulana Fazal

Nawabshah: The chief of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman has said that the vote of people has been stolen and there is unannounced martial in Pakistan.

Talking to media here Wednesday at local Circuit House, he said the rulers intoxicated with power do not hear the cries of poor Pakistanis burdened with price hike and joblessness. To a question, he said it does not matter if they slap martial law as Pakistan has already been witnessed an unannounced martial law. He said we would continue our struggle for bringing a true democracy in Pakistan.

Maulana Fazal said a FIR has already been lodged about breaking the door of hotel room of Safdar and kidnapping Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh and additional IGP. He said the response of Sindh police officer to these matters is before us. He said Army Chief has already announced a probe in this matter, but we demand to take action against the people involved in this matter. He said not only in Sindh but also in other provinces civil administration is controlled by them.

He said these people sit in the apex committee and they are answerable before no one. He demanded to end this system and revive civilian supremacy.

He said we are going to Quetta with this demand and we will arrange rallies in other cities also. He expressed his condolence over deaths in Karachi blast.

Maulana said there should be no clash between the civil and military institutions. All institutions should work professionally and refrain from interfering into matters of other institutions.

He said the islands belong to the people of Sindh and Balochistan and if the Federation occupy these islands, affected people would protest.

On the occasion JUI-F Sindh general secretary Allama Arshad Mehmood Soomro and others leaders were also present. A delegation of JUI-F Nawabshah chapter met with the Maulana who later left for Sukkur.
