Three political party activists among eight suspects apprehended

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Thursday claimed to have arrested eight alleged criminals, including three political party activists, from different parts of the metropolis.

According to Rangers spokesman, rangers and police carried out a targeted raid in New Karachi and apprehended a political party activist, Faheem alias Mamo.

In another targeted raid in Mauripur area, a rangers team nabbed two criminals Hyder alias Noman and Mohammad Ismail alias Kanamail. The arrested accused were stated to be affiliated with a apolitical party MQM-London and were involved in several crimes.

The rangers carried out raids in Sadar, Boat Basin, Darakshan and Defence areas and detained five street criminals and two drug peddlers.

They also recovered illegal weapons, contraband and drugs from their possession.
