Two injured in separate mugging incidents

KARACHI: Two persons were shot and injured by robbers on resistance in separate mugging incidents in the metropolis on Friday.

According to rescue sources, two armed robbers riding a motorbike tried to loot a 50-year-old man Shakir Ali, son of Shaukat Ali, in Pak Colony area, but he offered them resistance on which the robbers shot and injured him. He was rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for treatment.

Separately, a 30-year-old man, Shahzaib, son of Ramzan, was injured when he offered resistance to bandits during a robbery incident in Lyari’s Gulistan Colony.

The injured was brought to CHK for treatment.
