THATTA: Two passengers were killed and eight others injured when a van collided with a parked tanker-truck near Dhabeji on Saturday.
A van was on its way to Gharo from Karachi when it collided with a parked tanker-truck on the road near Dhabeji in Thatta district. As a result, Mohammad Hassan Chandio and one other passenger were killed on the spot while eight people sustained injuries, two of them seriously.
The injured include as Hamza, Ramzan, Ali Nawaz and Khuda Bux. They were brought to Rural Health Centre for treatment. Two of the seriously injured passengers were later referred to Karachi.
Dhabeji police reached the site of the incident and have started investigation into the accident.
