QUETTA:Two people were killed and two others injured in an armed attack in Saryab’s Goharabad area of Quetta in the wee hours of Sunday.
According to police, unidentified armed men opened fire in a local mosque’s room in Goharabad area. As a result, two people, identified as Abdul Hye and Abdul Aziz killed on the spot, while two others Zafarullah and Noor Ahmed suffered bullet injuries.
The bodies and injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta where the condition of the injured was stated to be out of dangers. Soon after the incident, the police and Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel sealed the area and launched a search operation in the area to arrest the culprits. Police further said that the firing incident took place around 12:35 AM.
