Lahore:Noted Urdu poetess Fahmida Riaz passed away in Lahore last evening. She was 74.
Born in Meerut town of India on July 28, 1945, she was considered as a noted feminist and liberal poetess of Urdu language.
Three collections of her poems have been published.
