Shikarpur:A villager identified as Mazaar Bunglani was murdered over Karo-Kari at village Bahram Bunglani near Shikarpur within the jurisdiction of Newfaujdari police station on Sunday night.
On complaint of Gulzar Bunglani, the brother of deceased Mazaar Bunglani the area police registered FIR against six persons including Karamullah, Abdul Wahid, Ghous Bux, Murad Ali, Qurban all Bunglanis by cast and one unidentified person.
The relatives of deceased while putting the dead body on road blocked the Shikarpur – Sukkur highway and staged the demonstration in protest against the non-arresting of accused persons nominated in FIR.
The road was reopened for vehicular traffic after some hours on the assurance of police officers for early arrest of the accused persons.
