QUETTA: A western rain-bearing system is still persist over Pakistan and will affect Balochistan region on Monday. Under the influence of this system, moderate to strong rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hilly region of moderate to strong intensity is predicted at scattered places in northern Balochistan from Saturday to Monday.
Moderate to strong thunderstorm-rain (with snowfall of moderate to strong intensity) is expected at isolated places in Sherani, Zhob, Musakhel, Qilla Saifullah, Loralai, Barkhan, Pishin, Quetta, Qilla Abdullah, Mastung Chaghi, Kholu, Bolan, Kalat, Khuzdar, Gawadar and Ziarat districts, at a few places in Noshki, Sibbi, Harnai and Lasbella districts.
All concerned authorities are advised to take precautionary measures accordingly to mitigate weather induced hazards in mentioned areas.
