LARKANA:A young man was gunned down allegedly over the pretext of infamous Karo-Kari rite in village Dilli Jan Khakhrani within the limits of Taluka Police Station in the wee hours of Tuesday.
The man, Zubair Khakhrani, was shot dead in village Dilli Jan Khakhrani. The body was shifted to Chandka Medical College Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
An FIR was lodged by police against Murad Khakhrani, Javed and Wajid Khakhrani. Sources said that accused informed police that Zubair entered their house and during encounter he was killed, but the rumours in the area added that he was murdered for “honour”. These sources further claimed that two people have been arrested by police but their names have not yet been disclosed.
