15 buffaloes killed, dozens injured as cattle pen roof collapses in Karachi’s Bhains Colony

Fifteen buffaloes were killed when the roof of a cattle pen collapsed in Karachi’s Bhains Colony on Tuesday morning.

According to a key industry representative, an estimated 70 more animals were also injured in the incident.

Shakir Umar Gujjar, President of the Dairy and Cattle Farmers Association Pakistan, confirmed the fatalities following the incident.

The incident occurred at a cattle pen named Shakeel Nagori, located on Road No. 11 in the Bhains Colony area.
