GAMBAT:The 18-hour prolonged power load shedding continued to hit 300 villages of Gambat taluka daily, making the lives of people miserable in the ongoing severe cold wave.
The power load shedding upto 18 hours is being carried in all villages of Gambat taluka including Razi Dero, Kamal Dero, Jadowahan, Dilawar Khuhro, Noor Jo Goth, Badal Khuhro, Belharo and Khemtia. In these villages, education and social activities are badly affected.
Faheem Ahmed, a social activist of village Satabo, said that rural people of taluka Gambat were in great trouble due to power outages of 18 hours. He said that the government needed to provide relief to the people of villages in Gambat taluka as climate change had made this region more colder.
“The social activities have badly been affected due to power outages. Worst sufferers are children and old men. There is need to bring halt to load-shedding so that people could take a sigh of relief,” said Faheem. “Imran Khan during political campaigns on containers and election drive had made big claims of resolving power outages, but there is not progress yet,” he concluded.
