Pakistan’s veteran tennis players Rashid Malik and Khurram Imtiaz have achieved a remarkable double success by winning championship titles in their respective age categories in the prestigious ITF World Masters Tour MT200 tournament.
According to official information today, in the Men’s Singles 60 plus final, Rashid Malik showcased a brilliant performance to win his title. He defeated Hannes Eberhard of Switzerland with a clear score of 6-1 and 6-1.
Khurram Imtiaz won the Men’s Singles 55 plus championship when his opponent, Oliver Marjanovic of Switzerland, was forced to withdraw from the final match.
This victory for Imtiaz came via a walkover, which was awarded due to Marjanovic’s ill health, making him unable to compete for the title.
