Storm Forecast in Various Parts of the Country

The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast today indicating the possibility of thunderstorms and rain in various regions of the country, including Sindh, northeastern and southern Punjab, lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and northeastern Balochistan.

Heavy rainfall is expected in some areas of Sindh and southern Punjab, which may potentially cause disruptions and public caution is advised.

The weather is expected to remain partly cloudy in cities like Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Murree, and Muzaffarabad, where there is a possibility of thunderstorms and rain. Light rain is expected with partly cloudy conditions in Karachi, Quetta, and Gilgit.

This morning, temperatures in major cities were recorded as follows: 26°C in Islamabad, 28°C in Lahore and Peshawar, 29°C in Karachi, 24°C in Quetta, 19°C in Gilgit, 16°C in Murree, and 23°C in Muzaffarabad.
