20,000 trees to be planted in district Chagae: DC

QUETTA: Agha Shair Zaman, Deputy Commissioner, Chagae has said that the target of planting 20,000 trees in district Chagae of Balochistan province had been set under monsoon tree plantation campaign to ameliorate environment.

These views were expressed by him here on Sunday while talking to media after planting sapling in Circuit House, Dalbandin in connection with “Plant for Pakistan”. He added that country could be protected from the negative impacts of climate change by planting more trees in accordance with the vision of Prime Minister, Imran Khan. On the occasion, Assistant Commissioner, Dalbandin, Javed Domki, Divisional Forest Officer, Abdul Qadir Jamali and other authorities were also present.
